Location

Location in the game relative the map as you can see by the map above it has letters across the top A-F and numbers 1-6 up the side.
Let’s say I say in chat I’m in grid A1 then I’d be in the top left corner.
Now for more precision we use the number pad on your key board.
Each grid square on the map can be further divided into 9 different sub-squares to help with locations within that grid. The numbers within each grid square divide the grid in the same manner your keyboard keypad numbers are arranged:
|
7 |
8 |
9 |
|
4 |
5 |
6 |
|
1 |
2 |
3 |
Note we have squadron maps that have the above numbered diagram included.
Let’s say I’m in F63 then I’d be in the very bottom right corner.
This is used extensively and with great precision for asking for help indicating which target was destroyed or Identifying and locating enemy.
Profanity
The use profanity while online is frowned upon by most and won’t be tolerated in JGS4. You’re a part of a team and as such have everyone’s interests to consider. If you have a problem with someone either turn chat of or take the persons name if in a squad and report him to his squad. Discuss it with your CO first
Most game preferences can be accessed in the game by right clicking screen with mouse while in game.
The exceptions here are Glide, custom paints, smooth screen. These must be set prior to entering the game under the preferences button.
