HOW TO CREATE A FOLDER

1.0 HOW TO CREATE A FOLDER

1.1 You can download a File and put it anywhere on your computer but you will soon lose track of it. It is better to create a folder to put your downloads in.

1.2 Creating a folder in Windows explorer
1.2.1 Click on Start....programs....windows explorer

Click on windows explorer

click on (C:) to highlight it

Go up to the title bar and click file.....New......Folder

You will see a folder appear like in the above example with the name New Folder highlighted in blue. Type in a name for your folder......Downloads....then press enter
Now you should have a Downloads folder to put your downloads in.
